This last weekend, we attended a memorial walk with Bo’s Heavenly Clubhouse. It was a beautiful day with many unique ways to honor our children who have passed away.
It was an emotional day to see all of the children’s names and dates of life along the walk. It reminded me that life can be short, and death leaves a forever impact on the people affected.
I don’t have much to say besides I miss Archer tremendously this month.
Here are some pictures of the day:
The Shirts
The first two images are from the onesie that I made Stryder. It says, “Strollin’ for my Wingman.”
The adults got shirts with the names of many of those we walked in memory of. (Archer is the 4th name in the furthest column on the left).
During the Walk
We started and ended by going through rainbow arches.
We looked for Archer’s memorial sign; while honoring other children along the way.
Yes, we brought Archer to be part of the day, which made it all the more special.
After the Walk: Carnival
After the walk, there was a Carnival with games, comfort dogs, raffles, prizes, and food. It was fitting that Bluey and Bingo were there, as that was one of Archer’s favorite TV shows.
